From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Secrets prioritizes cleanliness and maintenance. The hotel is, without a doubt, the cleanest we've ever stayed in. The housekeeping and gardening teams work tirelessly to maintain pristine conditions and deserve immense recognition for their efforts.

Warm Welcome and Exceptional Concierge

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and introduced to our concierge, Johan. His exceptional service made our stay truly unforgettable. Johan went above and beyond, arranging special treats such as a 25-minute massage, a romantically decorated room with petals and champagne, and a delightful breakfast in bed. His prompt assistance with any queries or issues ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Culinary Delights

The food at Secrets was a highlight of our trip. Every meal was well-prepared and delicious, with ample options to keep us satisfied. The mid-afternoon poolside snacks were a delightful touch. Although we were initially disappointed by the lack of an evening buffet, the room service provided a perfect alternative for lighter meals.

We did find ourselves revisiting restaurants due to our extended stay, but each visit allowed us to try different dishes. Breakfast and lunch buffets were exceptional, with the crepés being a standout. The on-site 24-hour coffee shop, offering friendly service and delightful pastries, was another favorite spot.

Entertainment and Activities

Evening shows at Secrets were top-notch, offering a variety of performances that kept us entertained every night. During the day, the resort offered numerous activities, although we preferred lounging by the pool. Our concierge kept us informed with daily messages about activities like wine and chocolate pairing, jewellery making, and biking, ensuring there was always something to do.

The staff, especially the pool and evening service teams, were incredibly attentive, ensuring we never had to move far for a drink. However, seating for evening entertainment in the lobby area and poolside karaoke was limited. This is an area the hotel could improve by adding temporary seating for events to enhance guest comfort.
